I wanna buy a Macbook but.....?
Yeah, I wanted to buy a macbook or macbook air with Leopard installed in it.... I am new to Mac and seeing that Apple is very fast in releasing OS version, I am scared that buying a Mac that will be used for 5 years will be a waste of money, because in the course of 2 years it will be outdated.... my question is, can I upgrade my Mac to a future Apple OS X 10.6 or 10.7 without the need of buying a new Macbook?
I am just a student and my primary use for it is to chat, MS Office, surf the web elegantly (supports all kinds of websites) and upload pictures and blogging.... Is Macbook for me?
I mean, if Macbook (the latest one) can be an Okay laptop for future Mac OS as well just for 5 years???
I don't like installing games on a laptop to avoid reinstalling in the future, maybe yahoo games but i really am not into games for laptop since I have a desktop PC for that. I wanted to take card of the laptop so that it could last for my whole stay in College
Yes, new versions of OS X work on older hardware.
It costs about the same amount as Windows upgrades (except that you pay about 1/3rd as much for the upgrade, but 3 times as often).
